Preliminary layouts for the cover of Bandette #13, done in Manga Studio 5EX (now called Clip Studio Paint). I start out with the logo and subtitle and a very rudimentary sketch and take it from there. The mask was drawn with the aid of Manga Studio’s Symmetrical ruler–very handy for designing such objects!
