Last week, the fellas over at the Comic Twart blog introduced me to the awesomeness that is Italian Spiderman (VIDEO).
This week, in the long tradition of cartoonists drawing stuff for fun on the internet, I totally stole their idea.

You: had a friend pay me money for a commission at Emerald City Comic Con, to be completed when my huge pile of deadlines had been dealt with.
Me: Wrote down your email address, then spent the next three months buried in deadlines and business trips. Now, I have time to do your commission, BUT I’VE LOST THE EMAIL ADDRESS!!
PLEASE, if you are this person, or know who this person is, WRITE ME as soon as you can with a description of the commission request, and I will finish the piece and ship it to you!

Paul Tobin and I are winging down to Texas for Free Comic Book Day this Saturday! Rogue’s Gallery near Austin is hosting us and a mess of other creators (check out the list here). Paul wrote one of Marvel’s FCBD selections this year, starring Iron Man & Nova! I’ll be signing whatever people put in front of me, so come down to see us!

I was asked to write a guest post for Comics Alliance about my not-so-secret crush on the RPG video game Dragon Age: Origins! I am unabashedly enthusiastic.

Boy golly! I just realized that there will be more than a handful of comics featuring my work coming out in the next few months. So here’s a quick rundown!

Tails of the Pet Avengers #1
I drew two stories in this comic! One stars Redwing, the Falcon’s pal, written by Joe Caramagna. The other is written by ME and stars Aunt May’s little dog Ms. Lion. Scheduled for release February 10.

Girl Comics #1
Girl Comics #2
Girl Comics #3
Each of the three issues of this anthology created, edited, and produced entirely by women will have an introduction written and drawn by me! The second issue will feature a story written by Kathryn Immonen with me on art duty. Issue #1 scheduled for release March 3, issue #2 April 7. Issue #3 not yet announced.

Thor & the Warriors Four #1-4
This new Power Pack mini series will have a four-part backup story written and drawn by me, starring the Pack and possibly the most inappropriate babysitter in the Marvel Universe, the Lion of Olympus, Hercules! First issue scheduled for release April 7.

Here’s a panel from the story I’ve been working on, which I wrote! It’ll be a backup feature in a series to be announced later, but you’ll get the idea.

Go see the other eight ladies on ComicsAlliance.Com!
For the 12 days leading up to Christmas, my Periscope studiomates and I have been contributing illustrations to the Comics Alliance blog. As usual, we all tried to one-up each other, so you should check out the whole list of images, and keep checking until we get to Day 12. Today my piece went live: Nine Ladies Dancing!

A recent commission. I’m not the only one who has drawn MODOK vs. Luchadores, by the way. Check out Jim Rugg‘s Masterpiece of Awesome here!
Happy Thanksgiving, fellow Americans.
