Got my little fangirl hands on someone’s advance reader’s edition of Richard Stark’s The Hunter graphic novel, written and drawn by Darwyn Cooke. After devouring it like a box of delicious caramels laced with sea-salt (mmmmm…. ) I sprang to my Cintiq and did a quick bit of fan art.
The Hunter is the first of four planned graphic novel adaptations of Richard Stark’s Parker books, published by IDW.

I just saw your entry on the Darwyn Cooke blog; really wondeful! You have such a great, seemingly effortless style. The inking and colors are amazing. The illustration reminded me of a series of photos that Cindy Sherman did a few years back. Anyhow, I’ll be on the look out for more of your work!
