Five days a week, we are a spitball&#8217;s length from each other in our studio, <a href=\"http:\/\/periscopestudio.tumblr.com\/\">Periscope<\/a>. (I am pretty sure that distance has been tested and confirmed.) So when Whiteout came around as the weekly Sindiecate theme, rather than think about what to draw, I asked Steve what moment from the series he thought would be cool to see.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Steve:<\/strong> Well, there&#8217;s this bit in <strong>Whiteout: Melt<\/strong> where Carrie and this Russian dude fall down a deep, white crevasse, and then later they get it on in an igloo.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Me:<\/strong> OK, then.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I left out the igloo part.<\/p>\n<p>This scene anticipates Steve&#8217;s more recent work <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Underground-TP-Jeff-Parker\/dp\/1607062666\">Underground<\/a>, written by our homey <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkerspace.com\/\">Jeff Parker<\/a>. In it, a lady Park Ranger falls down a deep, black cave with her male partner the day after they get it on in her apartment.
