Bibliographyphaeliacs, Assemble!

How will we ever keep track of all these lists!?

How will we ever keep track of all this information!?

One of the questions I was asked pretty often at Emerald City Comic Con was “Oh, you’re doing work for Marvel? Where?” To which I would have to fumble for an answer: “Uh, there was a backup in this series… and there was a full-length story in a Summer Special… I think I had a piece in, no, wait, that was this other thing…”

I realized that I had reached the point where I had done enough work for Marvel that I had lost the ability to keep it straight in my head. So I’ve compiled a list which can be linked to from the Marvel Comics page on this site, or by clicking the Marvel Comics Bibliography link in the Site Map in the sidebar to the right of this column.

I need your help. Please look over my list for any omissions or inaccuracies, and please let me know if there’s any information I should be listing, but haven’t. (Should I include dates on the titles? Dates of release or of publishing? This could become tricky as they are often wildly different. And should I list reprints?)

I’d also like to do a similar bibliography for the Other Comics page– a record of my work in non-Marvel and non-Small Favors books. That’s going to be a much more ambitious compilation, as it’s going to include work that I may have forgotten, for publications that had very small print runs. I’ll be asking for help on that one, too.

And while I’m at it, if anyone wanted to use this or any other information on this web site to update my Wikipedia entry, please do! That photo in particular is way out of date. I feel weird about editing it myself.

Thanks, Y’all.

I think I got my made-up Latin wrong. Should be Bibliographyphiles? Bibliographyphaeliac would be what, a person who bleeds bibliographies? It works.

I will be at Stumptown, but I have no table this year… not a bad idea, though!

The Unofficial Handbook of Marvel Comics Creators ( also lists Amazing Spider-Girl #25-28.
Wow, you’ve done a lot for Marvel I didn’t know about. I looking forward to the Giant Size FF, looks like fun.

FWIW, I checked your listing on Comic Book DB ( and they don’t show anything Marvel that’s not on your list, so that’s good.
