I reckon we'll meet up with Dorothy Lamour somewhere near Tacoma, and then sure as you're born, one of us will get captured by cannibals.
… on the road to Seattle, for the Emerald City Comic Con! Almost the entire Periscope crew will be piling onto a train this afternoon for the three-hour trip to one of the nicest conventions I know. I expect we’ll take up a whole car by ourselves, and we’ll tell stories and sing songs all along the way!

I wish I had gone on a train from Seattle to Portland when I was out there a few years ago.
It was during one of those “40 days of rain” streaks and not a fun drive, especially a day after flying across the country.
(fortunately, I had a good time in the city, including going to Powell’s and playing in the Oni poker game.)
